H2X Global has been awarded a contract worth up to SEK 240m ($22m) by Renova for its hydrogen-powered commercial trucks.
The fleet of fuel cell trucks will be the ‘largest’ of its kind in Sweden, as they take to the streets in the city of Gothenburg.
The award was received by the company’s subsidiary, H2X Gothenburg, and comes from a second public tender released last year. The company has successfully secured vehicles in 12 of the 13 categories specified in the tender, covering both 18 and 26 tonne vehicles.
