Woodside Energy is aiming to make Western Australia a hydrogen powerhouse with plans to establish a new, state-of-the-art hydrogen and ammonia production facility in southern metropolitan Perth.
Unveiled today (Oct 25), the proposed H2Perth project will be built on a 130 hectares site of vacant industrial land with an aim to produce up to 15,000 tonnes per day of hydrogen to be used in the transport sector and heavy industry.
