The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWK) has launched a new funding platform for hydrogen projects called the H2Global Foundation.
The new funding platform has been established by 16 well-known founding companies and is an important milestone for the international market in terms of ramping-up green hydrogen.
Through the foundation, green hydrogen or derivatives are purchased abroad with long-term contracts and resold in Germany via annual auctions.
