It is hugely important hydrogen fuel cells are implemented into back-up generators due to their efficiency in greating green, reliable power as opposed to more traditional diesel variants, GenCell Energy’s President and Chief of Business Development Gil Shavit told a H2 View webinar today (August 13).
He was discussing how hydrogen fuel cells can be utilised across the globe as a means to provide green back-up power, highlighting that GenCell is already developing unique fuel cell solutions to support the transition away from diesel, during H2 View’s Power Pillar Special webinar, sponsored by Taylor-Wharton.
“We’ve chosen back-up with back-up applications usually run by diesel generators. We have substituted them by using fuel cells which generates electricity by combining hydrogen and oxygen from the air to become a source of very stable backup electricity,” Shavit told the nearly 150 webinar attendees.
