H2 Green Steel has joined a cross-industry European CEO Alliance bringing its expertise in hydrogen and carbon free steel to further support the EU Green Deal and slash carbon emissions by 55% by 2030.
The alliance has issued policy recommendations ahead of EU Commissions impending Fit for 55 legislative package suggesting that strong collaborations between the public sector and industry is required to reach climate neutrality.
The group view themselves as an “action tank” and work together on cross-sector pan-European projects at scale under a range of different applications – one being the construction of green hydrogen value chains that can aid the EU in achieving its net zero goals.
