H2 Clipper’s innovative hydrogen-powered ‘Pipeline-In-The-SkyTM‘ airship has achieved a major milestone after simulated wind tunnel testing, the company has announced today (June 14).
The aerospace and alternative energy firm has said that simulated wind tunnel tests, using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has confirmed that the airship’s design achieves an ‘extremely low’ level of residual drag.
The alternative hydrogen transportation concept is hoped to solve ‘economical and effective’ challenges in moving the clean fuel from its cheap production sites to consumers.
