As part of its plans to transform its Rotterdam facility into a green energy hub, Gunvor Petroleum Rotterdam has awarded McDermott International a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for its Green Hydrogen Import Terminal project.
H2 View understands, McDermott’s storage business, CB&I will provide the FEED of an ammonia tank and associated inside battery limits (IBSL) equipment, while McDermott will support FEED activities for pipelines, tie-ins and outside battery limits (OSBL) scope.
As part of the FEED, a project execution cost estimate will be developed as basis for a potential conversion into an engineering, construction, and procurement (EPC) contract for the implementation phase of the project.
