Road upgrades to support the construction of a major clean hydrogen hub have started in Western Australia’s (WA) resource-rich Pilbara.
The WA Government today (August 12) said ground had been broken at a major intersection in Port Hedland on the state’s north coast for upgrades so that key project components can be brought in for the development of the Pilbara Hydrogen Hub.
Two new four lane bridges are being built above a roundabout to connect Pinga Street with the newly constructed Lumsden Point Access Road, which the government said, “will support the import of wind turbine and renewable energy components into the Pilbara.”
