US-based Ohmium International is set to supply 120MW of its PEM electrolysers to offer green hydrogen capacity to an “independent power producer” to be used as a zero carbon fuel replacement for a portion of gas usage at a New Jersey, US peaking power plant.
The company today (November 17) revealed it had finalised an agreement with NovoHydrogen to see its modular electrolysers deployed at the plant.
H2 View understands the green hydrogen produced by the Ohmium electrolysers is expected to be burned in one of the plant’s 10 turbines, reducing the overall carbon emissions of the plant.
