Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS) has been selected as electrolysis technology partner by renewable energy group Ørsted for a pivotal wind-to-hydrogen demonstration project in Denmark.
Ørsted’s first renewable hydrogen project utilising offshore wind power to produce green hydrogen, H2RES will be located at the Avedøre Holme in Copenhagen.
The aim of the project is to produce renewable hydrogen fuel for heavy-duty road transport.
A 2MW electrolysis plant will be built around GHS’s modular electrolysers powered by two 3.6MW offshore wind turbines.
