Charbone plan to establish a green hydrogen production facility in Nova Scotia, Canada with its announcement today (June 21) of a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Port Hawkesbury Paper (PHP).
The facility, which will be Charbone’s first in the region, is expected to be located on PHP’s eco-industrial park in Richmond County, near the Town of Port Hawkesbury.
The companies intend to explore and identify the best uses of hydrogen for the assets and benefits of PHP’s eco-industrial park, as well as other local projects, with a definitive agreement on or before November 18, 2022.
