A new joint venture has been launched between Gen X Energy and ACE Enexor to support development of Batangas Clean Energy’s 1,100 MW combined cycle power plant that will utilise green hydrogen as fuel.
By using green hydrogen as fuel, the power plant will provide firm power to the grid in the Philippines to reach the growing demand for renewable energy and reduce the country’s reliance on coal fired power generation.
