Plans for a green hydrogen plant in Oban, Scotland have been unveiled by GreenPower.
The renewable energy firm said it is buying an industrial site in the Scottish town (pictured above) where it will create the Argyll Hydrogen Hub to produce and distribute green hydrogen.
Several sectors are currently dependent on fossil fuels in Argyll, GreenPower said, and switching to green hydrogen could radically reduce carbon emissions and create jobs in the area.
