In a bid to support the EU’s climate goals and hydrogen targets, Baker Hughes has revealed today (March 31) plans to provide hydrogen-ready turbo-compression technology for a pipeline in Greece.
This could be a vital development not only for the Greek hydrogen value chain but also the wider European market with a hydrogen pipeline backbone vital in accelerating the adoption of hydrogen.
This will also allow the clean energy carrier to be transported at cost-effective prices to end users once coupled with production sites.
