Establishing a hydrogen bus network in Greater Springfield, Queensland is just one of the key goals of a landmark roadmap – the first-of-its-kind for an Australian city – unveiled on Friday (16th Oct).
The plans also include widespread access to electric vehicle charging stations, at least 30% of the city reserved as green space and 100% of Greater Springfield’s power delivered through renewable sources.
All of this is expected to be delivered by 2038, thus establishing Greater Springfield as the world’s greenest city.
