British magazine GQ has named the hydrogen-powered Hyundai Nexo among its fastest, sleekest and most innovative rubber-burners on UK roads and racetracks in 2021.
At the GQ Car Awards 2021, produced in association with Michelin, the Nexo won ‘Alternative Energy Car of the Year’.
“There is another horse in the race to reach an environmental Elysium that might be a better solution for our personal mobility needs: hydrogen, potentially a more efficient and practical alternative power source,” GQ said, which is why it has given the Hyundai Nexo some “much-deserved” credit.
It’s not the first time the Nexo has been in the spotlight, in October 2019 Hyundai Motor Spain launched a campaign featuring an Olympic athlete running on a treadmill inside a bubble breathing in the emissions of the zero emissions car, which emits only water vapor.
