Scotland has a unique opportunity to be the shop window for the hydrogen and fuel cell solutions which tackle ‘difficult to treat’ areas of heat and transport.
That’s according to Nigel Holmes, CEO of the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association, who welcomed the news that Glasgow will be the host city of the United Nation’s 26th climate change conference in November 2020.
COP26 will bring together more than 30,000 delegates from around the world, including climate experts, business leaders and citizens to agree ambitious action to tackle climate change.
“Glasgow and Scotland can be an outstanding showcase for low carbon and zero emission technologies. But with just over 12 months until the summit there is a need for planning and prompt action,” Holmes said.
