GKN Hydrogen will jointly offer hydrogen solutions for the Chinese mobility infrastructure sector as part of a collaboration with ZYNP.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the global automotive supplier, GKN will market its metal hydride hydrogen storage solutions in China.
Initially, the two companies will jointly define strategically important application areas and install a demonstration system in the country, before they ramp-up distribution of the hydrogen storage systems.
“China is already a leader in the production and use of green hydrogen,” explained Guido Degen, CEO of GKN Hydrogen. “[The company] has already realised 26 projects worldwide and is consistently focusing on its presence in growth markets and the development of new storage applications.
