GKN Aerospace, Marshall and Parker Aerospace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at exploring liquid hydrogen fuel system solutions for aviation.
Hydrogen propulsion through fuel cells or combustion is considered to be a key pathway for the aviation industry to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Under the MoU, the three companies will jointly develop the liquid hydrogen fuel system which is expected to be capable of supporting both hydrogen electric and combustion applications.
