An agreement has been signed between the Green Hydrogen Organisation (GH2) and Trovio Operating Pty Ltd to develop a global registry for green hydrogen and green hydrogen derivatives certification.
It’s expected that the platform will provide certainty and transparency to producers, customers and investors that green hydrogen is made with renewable electricity, conforming with the highest standards on emissions, ESG and sustainable development goals.
Using Trovio’s CorTenX API-driven environmental registry, green hydrogen production meeting GH2’s Green Hydrogen Standard will be licensed to use the label, “GH2 Green Hydrogen” and therefore be eligible to obtain and trade GH2 certificates of origin for green hydrogen and derivatives including ammonia.
