Gevo has finalised a renewable hydrogen development services agreement with Zero6 Energy and selected Cummins as technology partner.
The agreement will see the development of a 20MW hydrogen production facility in Lake Preston, South Dakota, using four of Cummins HyLYZER® 1,000 proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers. Gevo is a renewable fuels company focused on the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
The facility, known as the Dakota Renewable Hydrogen Project (DHR), will be an integral part of Gevo’s Net Zero 1 renewable hydrocarbon plant that is under development.
