Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) has announced the winners of the HyLand competition, with another 30 regions set to focus on hydrogen produced from renewable energies.
Due to high demand in the competition as well as high-quality applications, the original number of potential winners was increased from 20 to 30 regions.
Fifteen HyExpert regions will receive €400,000 to prepare and calculate specific project ideas for hydrogen concepts.
The 15 winners of the HyStarter category will be provided with an advisory team of experts to develop a regional concept as well as a suitable network for building a green hydrogen economy.
