Germany’s newly announced hydrogen import targets will be hard to meet, according to analysis by Aurora Energy Research.
Having revealed its freshly updated national hydrogen strategy on Wednesday (July 26), Germany said it would double its 2030 electrolyser capacity targets to 10GW, while saying 50-70% of its hydrogen demand at the end of the decade would be met from imports.
