Hot on the heels of multiple hydrogen announcements made in the last week, INEOS has today (Oct 19) said it will develop a 100MW electrolyser to at its Koln site in Germany.
Part of an effort to accelerate a net-zero future in Germany by 2045, the site will see the produced hydrogen fed into INEOS’ green ammonia production.
Further to this, INEOS will also look to develop e-fuels through power-to-methanol at the site at an industrial scale. The company will also look to combine hydrogen in this process.
