Europe continues to explore opportunities to transition away from Russian fossil fuel and gas reliance with Germany and Norway to study the feasibility of transporting hydrogen via a pipeline between the two countries.
The European Commission has already identified hydrogen as a means to destabilise the EU’s reliance on fossil fuels and gas from Russia and thus this cooperation between the two countries could greatly enhance the hydrogen economy.
