Hamburg-based Eternal Power is exploring producing hydrogen in Chile for export back to Germany and wider Europe.
With the Chilean Energy Ministry aiming to see green hydrogen produced at around $1.5/kg, the country hopes to become one of the key exporting countries of the energy carrier.

Eternal is looking across the region with local partners to identify suitable areas to develop large-scale gigawatt plants to produce shippable green hydrogen carriers such as ammonia and methanol.
