Gentari and Sembcorp Industries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore hydrogen-related initiatives in Southeast Asia.
Under the MoU, the two companies will trade renewable energy from Southeast Asia, or other mutually agreed locations, to accelerate the adoption of clean energy sources.
They will also supply low-carbon hydrogen to consumers, with the development of hydrogen production facilities and joint studies on the transportation of hydrogen from Malaysia to Singapore.
