US waste-to-energy firm GenHydro has broken ground on a waste metal-to-hydrogen and clean energy pilot project in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The project at BURLE Business Park is planned to demonstrate GenHydro’s waste-to-energy technology by providing clean hydrogen and renewable electricity to the park’s business and industrial facility.
GenHydro’s reactor system uses waste metal and an exothermic oxidation and reduction reaction to produce clean hydrogen and renewable energy.
