The US could gain a huge boost to its hydrogen economy with RedHawk Energy and GenCell partnering to deliver an ultrareliable, resilient, long-duration, hydrogen fuel cell back up power system.
Revealed today (May 16), the technology will be primarily targeted for the US rail and other key industry sectors in North America and could present an extra avenue for hydrogen technologies to decarbonise US society.
With zero-emission solutions being explored for back-up power, a market that is heavily dominated by fossil fuels, hydrogen has the potential to be a major energy in this emerging area.
