Gen2 Energy and Höegh LNG have joined forces to develop a seaborne logistics chain for green hydrogen as part of an effort to reduce both hydrogen transportation costs and carbon emissions.
The duo today (June 8) formalised the agreement to take a first mover position in seaborn transportation of green hydrogen, a market which the partnership says does not exist on a large scale at present.
Commenting on the cooperation, Jonas Meyer, CEO in Gen2 Energy said, “I am very pleased to sign this cooperation agreement with Höegh LNG.
