GE Vernova to support hydrogen blending project in Singapore

GE Vernova will provide a 9HA.01 gas turbine for a new hydrogen-ready 600MW combined cycle power plant in Singapore.

Set to be built in Pulau Seraya Power Station (PSPS) on Jurong Island, the plant will represent GE Vernova’s first hydrogen-blended natural gas-fuelled facility in Singapore.

YTL PowerSeraya will operate the plant and lead the $604m project, which is anticipated to begin operations in 2027. GE Vernova will be supported by POWERCHINA and Sepco II in carrying out the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the plant development.
