GCK Motorsport, part of Green Cop Konnection (GCK), has committed to switching all of its racing projects to green energy, including hydrogen, as part of its quest to develop sustainable racing solutions.
The company’s transition to green energy comes in the form of the GCK e-Blast 1. Shared yesterday, the GCK e-Blast 1 will firstly run on fully electric technology, with plans to later feature the GCK hydrogen solution as the programme develops.
In a statement, GCK Motorsport said it will develop its hydrogen-powered solution with plans to present in January 2022. It will then be fully race-ready in 2023 – 2024.
“We’re really excited to present the GCK e-Blast 1, the first step in what we believe to be the future of long-distance cross-country racing: hydrogen-powered vehicles,” said Eric Boudot, CEO of Green Corp Konnection and GCK Motorsport.
