Gaussin is yet again further expanding in the Asia Pacific region, having launched a new Chinese subsidiary to target to world’s largest truck market with its hydrogen and electric vehicle offerings.
Unveiling Gassuin China on Tuesday (Feb 22), the zero-emissions transport specialist said it has opened a new headquarters in Shanghai for the base of its new subsidiary that will be responsible for developing license partnerships for deployment in the country.
With annual heavy-duty truck sales of approximately 1.5 million, China represents a major opportunity for Gaussin, especially when the country’s carbon intensity reduction targets are taken into consideration.
