Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Group has unveiled its first hydrogen fuel cell-powered car at GAC Tech Day 2020.
In a statement, the company said that is has prioritised climate conversation as a strategy and are therefore focusing on hydrogen-based clean energy, which it expects to become a popular solution.
Called Aion LX Fuel Cell, the hydrogen-based vehicle is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell system independently developed by the company.
The vehicle takes approximately three to five minutes to refuel and boasts an operating range exceeding 650KM, reaching international benchmarks.
