Portuguese-based Fusion Fuel has today (October 6) revealed it is set to provide €2m ($1.9m) worth of its solar-to-hydrogen electrolyser systems to a 1.22MW green hydrogen project in Sines, Portugal.
The order from KEME Energy will see 62 of Fusion Fuel’s HEVO-Solar systems delivered to the project, which are anticipated to produce up to 77 tonnes of green hydrogen per annum.
H2 View understands construction of the facility is expected to begin early in 2023, with commercial operation hoped to be achieved in the second half of the year, where hydrogen produced from the site is set to meet local demand in the emerging hydrogen mobility sector.
