Fusion Fuel has today (September 29) announced it has entered into a technology sale agreement, worth $5m to supply its solar-to-hydrogen systems for a 3.2MW green hydrogen project in Andalucía, Spain.
The agreement, signed with Spanish developer, Gedisol, will see 144 of Fusion Fuel’s HEVO-Solar PEM electrolyser systems supplied for the project, which are estimated to produce up to 200 tonnes of green hydrogen per annum.
H2 View understands construction is expected to begin early in 2023, with hopes of achieving commercial operation in the third quarter of the year.
Fusion Fuel’s HEVO-Solar PEM electrolysers integrate a concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) system which it says offers an entire package of off-grid hydrogen production, utilising excess thermal energy to optimise feed water temperature, improving efficiency.
