Four hydrogen trucks deployed in Norway

Four electric trucks powered by hydrogen have been deployed in Norway through a partnership with ASKO and Scania.

The two manufacturers will see the four trucks being put into real life operations in the pilot which is one of the first of its kind. The trucks will refuel at ASKO’s hydrogen station in Trondheim, Norway.

“Scania continues to work with cutting edge technology that supports the shift to fossil free transport,” said Karin Rådström, Head of Sales and Marketing at Scania.

“Hydrogen gas is an interesting option for long haulage transport and early tests show that the technology also works well in colder climate.”
