Four of Finland’s energy companies have joined forces to develop an industrial hydrogen valley in the northern European country.
Neste Corporation, Gasgrid Finland, Helen and Vantaa Energy today (June 20) revealed they have started preliminary studies on an industrial hydrogen valley in the Uusimaa region in the southwest of the nation.
Planned to combine infrastructure, storage and transmission for renewable hydrogen, the valley is intended to serve both producers and consumers of hydrogen. The companies have said sector integration opportunities are a key element of the studies.
