Fortescue and Canadian-based HTEC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore building Canada’s “first” domestic green hydrogen supply chain and export facility in British Columbia.
It comes as Fortescue is proposing the development of a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility in Prince George.
Under the MoU, HTEC would off-take green hydrogen from Fortescue’s site as it looks to continue the development of its hydrogen refuelling network.
