The FlexH2 project has been awarded €4m ($4.52m) in government funding from the Netherlands with the project a key demonstration of hydrogen production from offshore wind.
Unveiled today (Dec 14), the funding is being provided as part of the MOOI-SIGOHE tender scheme by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
The FlexH2 research project, led by Shell, intends to both develop and demonstrate technology that will accelerate the scale-up of offshore wind, green hydrogen production and its integration into the energy system.
