Canada and UK-headquartered First Hydrogen Energy has today (August 9) announced plans to expand its green hydrogen production capacity into North America.
The firm has said it will initially target the Canadian market, leveraging on the nation’s renewable energy resources, and the recent announcement that the Canadian Government will provide $547.5m of funding to incentivise the use of heavy-duty zero emission vehicles.
First Hydrogen says it is planning to develop an end-to-end ‘hydrogen as-a-service’ model to offer its customers green hydrogen fuel, refuelling stations, and zero-emission commercial vehicles, to accelerate the creation of zero-emission eco-system solutions.
