Air Liquide and Houpu have inaugurated the first hydrogen station in Zhejiang Province, China through their joint venture Air Liquide Houpa.
Located in the city of Jiashan, at the gates of Shanghai, the hydrogen station is integrated in a multi-energy service station operated by Chinese chemical and petroleum group Sinopec.
The station is can supply daily more than 30 of the 100 hydrogen electric buses that the municipality has planned to roll out over the next few months.
Air Liquide and Houpu finalised their joint venture for the development, production and distribution of hydrogen stations in April (2019).
