Fuel Cell Systems (FCSL) will supply a new mobile hydrogen refuelling solution for Cranfield University.
The refueller will be part of the University’s Net Zero Research Airport project, after it was awarded £3.1m ($3.8m) from the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF) to advance its sustainable aviation research.
FCSL will provide a hydrogen electrolyser system, powered by solar panels, to supply fuel cell aviation research and ground operations. A mobile hydrogen compression and vehicle refuelling system will also support research projects across the campus.
