Daryl Wilson, the Executive Director of the Hydrogen Council, spoke at the f-cell+HFC event today (June 23) to discuss several factors currently impacting international hydrogen development.
One of the first factors that Wilson referenced was the very strong momentum on the back of 2020 for hydrogen, remarking, “All the momentum and recognition that we have ever wanted is now here.”
This is in reference to the global projects that have been announced throughout the world and the national strategies being introduced by governments.
Wilson said that several countries have started implementing strategies, targets, legislative plans and substantial funding, including Germany, Japan and China, yet none have reached the next stage that will see the application of policies and regulation.
