Extreme E ranked third in the 2024 Sustainable Championships Index

Zero-emission, offroad racing competition Extreme E has been positioned third in the 2024 Sustainable Championships Index™ (SChI™).

Standing alongside the ABB FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) Formula E World Championship, Formula One, and MotoGP, Extreme E has been recognised as one of the top performers in motorsports.

The SChI™ provides a yearly review of the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of motorsport championships across the globe. This edition included 106 two and four-wheel championships, with each series accessed using certain sustainability performance criteria.
