Extreme E achieves 80% hydrogen power at Hydro X Prix

Extreme E and ENOWA have announced that 80% of the power produced during the Hydro X Prix was achieved using hydrogen fuel cells.

Held in Scotland over the weekend, ENOWA provided 700kg of green hydrogen and Kaizen Clean Energy supplied the fuel cell technology. The race site was able to use the 11MWh produced to support charging, catering and event control power.

Across its last four X Prix, Extreme E has produced 25MWh with green hydrogen fuel cells and plans to increase energy production at its upcoming races in Sardinia.
