Clare Jackson, Chief Executive of Hydrogen UK, has told H2 View the UK Government’s funding plan, “does not go nearly as far as the industry would have liked it to.”
Reacting to the news that the government had backed 15 projects with its £240m ($296m) Net Zero Hydrogen Fund (NZHF), Jackson said, “There’s a lot of very good projects that have received funding. That’s positive in terms of being able to move things forward.”
However, she added, “There’s still a lot of very good, investable projects that industry has invested in that have gone unfunded.”
