In 2017 when Matthieu Guesné’s daughter was born, he felt a “responsibility to make the energy transition happen”, through innovation in the hydrogen sector.
Founded by Guesné that same year, Lhyfe dedicated itself to the energy transition, and made plans to become a producer and supplier of green and renewable hydrogen to Europe and beyond.
In 2021 the company developed its first industrial green hydrogen production site and last year (2022), implemented the world’s ‘first’ pilot platform for green hydrogen production at sea, and is now preparing to develop multiple onshore and offshore sites throughout Europe.
