Canadian-based Hydrogen Optimized has set a path to become a “leading provider of equipment for large scale green hydrogen production facilities” through innovative technology in its patented RuggedCell™ water electrolyser.
Andrew Stuart, President and CEO, and his son Edward Stuart, Vice-President, Product Strategy, formed Hydrogen Optimized in 2017 to realise their vision that the adoption of clean hydrogen processes for energy and industrial purposes will improve the quality of life for all.
The Stuart family has a long-standing leadership in the renewable industry, with Alexander Thomas Stuart, grandfather of Andrew, conceiving the electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen and oxygen via absorbed surplus electricity for the chemical, industrial and transportation markets whilst a student at an electrochemical plant in Niagara Falls.
