First Hydrogen’s light commercial vehicles (LCVs) are currently being trialled by Rivus, and earlier this month the company announced they’re performing ‘better than expected.’
The first phase of commissioning saw the LCVs accumulate over 6,000km on UK roads, the vehicles performing with ‘excellent efficiency’ in both urban, extra urban and highway operations, and the data logging supports the vehicle range simulations, which exceed a 500km range.
Last month (April), the company also unveiled its hydrogen-powered campervan concept, designed in partnership with EDAG Group. The fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) represents First Hydrogen’s aim to explore applications for alternative fuels across various vehicle classes.
